ZasmLabs is a multi-entity technology firm. Three legal entities — ZLI (India), ZLC (Canada), ZLU (USA) — one operating discipline. We do consulting, training, and product engineering for organisations that want craft as well as delivery.
Most software firms describe themselves the same way. We chose to be specific. Three things hold the work together across every engagement — the same three things that show up in every contract, every workshop, every product release.
The promise of a senior name on the proposal is broken when junior staff do the work. Our engagements are led by Senior Principals and Principals end to end. The team on the kickoff is the team on the close.
We commit Epics — units of business value — and trust the team to compose the stories and tasks inside. The cost is paid back in the absence of contractual ceremony. The benefit is that the work stays honest.
Our milestone schedule (30 / 30 / 30 / 10) holds back the final tenth for acceptance. The last weeks of an engagement go to handover, documentation, and knowledge transfer — the work that otherwise gets skipped on the way to the next project.
