A masterclass goes one level deeper than a chalk talk. It introduces the topic, shows the key patterns and pitfalls, and ends with a clear pointer to the workshop or track that goes further. Not a complete treatment — by design.
Open-enrolment masterclasses are usually free; corporate-run masterclasses or special-topic sessions are ticketed at a low cover charge. Either way, the format is the same.
